The removable chain is what makes these more flexible than most cuffs at this price. Clip it in and the Shadow Handcuffs hold both wrists together. Unclip it and you have two independent cuffs you can attach to a spreader bar, a bed frame, or nothing at all.

Each cuff is black faux leather with a soft velvety interior and an adjustable buckle, and each carries a polished silver O-ring connector that doubles as the attachment point and the visual centerpiece. The gate clips on the chain open and close one-handed, which is the practical detail that makes reconfiguring mid-scene possible.

Wipe the faux leather with a damp cloth, dry the hardware fully, and store the cuffs flat with the chain detached so the leather does not crease around it.

Educator's Note: Buckle to two fingers of clearance and no tighter. The wrist carries nerves and blood vessels near the surface, and a cuff that feels fine standing still can cause numbness within twenty minutes once someone is pulling against it. Check hands for tingling, coldness, or color change, and take the cuffs off rather than waiting to see if it passes. The gate clips are the fastest way out of this set, so make sure whoever is running the scene has opened and closed them before anyone is restrained. If you are clipping the cuffs to something fixed, keep a pair of safety shears within reach, and never leave a restrained person alone in the room.

All orders are discreetly shipped from "NALCOR" in plain packaging or US Postal Service packaging. It will not indicate the origin or contents unless required for international customs purposes. Our business name, MOTHERLODE, is not used anywhere on the outside packaging.

In the event of a package return due to improper address or other problem, the customer is responsible for covering the fee to reship.
