The Lace Spreader Bar is 22 inches of brushed silver aluminum with a black lace pattern heat-pressed into the surface, so it reads as an object rather than equipment when it is sitting out. Aluminum keeps it light enough to handle easily while staying rigid, and the D-rings with clips on each end connect to cuffs or tethers in one motion.

The fixed 22-inch length is a moderate spread, wide enough to matter and narrow enough to be manageable for someone new to positioning gear. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and store it flat.

Educator's Note: The thing to understand about a spreader bar is that it has no give. Cuffs stretch a little, rope has some flex, and a metal bar has none, so the limit on the spread is your partner's body rather than the equipment. Have them get into the position without the bar first and find where it stops being comfortable, then set up inside that range rather than at the edge of it. Hips and shoulders are the joints under load, and a stretch that feels fine for two minutes can ache for two days. Check in on the joints specifically, not just on the person generally. Attach the bar last and remove it first, keep a clip release within reach of whoever is running the scene, and never leave someone in a bar alone.

All orders are discreetly shipped from "NALCOR" in plain packaging or US Postal Service packaging. It will not indicate the origin or contents unless required for international customs purposes. Our business name, MOTHERLODE, is not used anywhere on the outside packaging.

It is up to you to know what types of laws exist in your area. We are not responsible for items that authorities decide are to be confiscated. We can not be held accountable for items that are illegal in your state or country.

In the event of a package return due to improper address or other problem, the customer is responsible for covering the fee to reship.

We cannot be held responsible for stolen or misdelivered packages. We will do our best to support you in righting the situation, but we cannot guarantee a re-shipment or a refund.
