Worn with a high neckline this looks like jewelry. Worn with anything else it looks like exactly what it is. The Cougar Day Collar is built on that ambiguity, with animal-print faux leather panels, a draped gold chain across the front, and a 1.25 inch ring hanging at the center.

It fits necks between 15 and 17 inches and closes with snaps rather than a buckle, so it goes on fast. The ring at the front gives you an attachment point for a leash, or something to hook a finger through, which is most of what people use it for.

Wipe the print with a damp cloth and dry the chain fully so the gold plating holds up. Store it flat rather than folded at the snap points.

Educator's Note: A detail worth naming plainly: the front chain on this collar is fixed rather than adjustable, and the packaging describes it as being for a choking effect. The sensation it creates is visual and psychological, not actual airway restriction, and that is the only way it should be used. There is no safe way to improvise pressure on the throat, and this piece has no quick release, so it does not come off in a hurry. Keep the fit at two fingers of clearance, use the ring for guiding rather than pulling, and take it off before anyone gets sleepy. If breath play is something you are curious about, it deserves dedicated study and a conversation with your partner, not a piece of jewelry and a guess.
